Well, you did it! Who knew when we gathered last year for CONNECT19 that we would have the year we’ve had? It’s been a huge year so far for Australia. Drought, followed by fires and then a global pandemic - just when we thought things weren’t challenging enough. But, praise God, together we’ve made it through. The Australian spirit is strong and in many ways, it has been a wonderful opportunity to point people to Jesus and continue to do His good work. It has indeed offered us a time to Think, Create and Speak.
Like everyone, CMAA had to pivot - specifically around CONNECT Conference - and instead of cancelling, a small team was pulled together so that in only 11 weeks, we were able to deliver an Online Summit that we are all excited about. 30+ curated talks plus Live Concerts open to our sector and beyond. While it was an ambitious and demanding task, it ultimately came together - with more than 1,600 registrations to the Online Summit, and the online public events reached hundreds of thousands of people across 50 nations!
As someone who experienced CONNECT20 Online Media & Arts Summit in whole or part, we would love to hear from you. As always, our ultimate aim is to improve your overall experience, by understanding, adapting, and creating. So please, take a moment to share your thoughts here.
Thank you for trusting CMAA, for being in this with us and for showing up. It all matters.
